222/222 581/581 (i guess?) 114lsa +2 degrees timing.

The cam is made so that it adds 2 degrees of timing, alot like u would do it with a tuner.

the 222 isnt a bad cam, its a good streetable one.  if you wanted a numeric scale, probably a 5-6 assuming stock is a 1.  mine would then be in the neighborhood of 8ish, and the big ass ones in the 240 duration range would be 10s.  but really thats just a scale in size, u cant really rate them like that, because different cams suit different needs.  that car also has 5.3L heads.  I am thinking about doing that some day since it bumps compression.  otherwise ill go with 243 heads from an ls6

you think his RW number's are legit? i thought they wouuld be higher, but then i thought, he doesn't have nitrous, and his cams didnt seem to big. so then i thought that maybe he's exaggerating a little.

i heard a car with 222/222's (dont know rest of specs) and it didnt have much of a lump at all, whcih, now im REALLY thinking the vette has a good sized cam in it, cuz she lumps quite a bit, but could be the exhaust i guess. corsa + Xpipe - CATs.

thats a vette with a cam.

loud exhaust doesnt sound the same as a cam.  the sound ur listening for is the higher pitched "clicking"..... kinda.... its hard to explain.  the sound quality of all of these is bad.  when I get mine done ill do another sound clip for everyone cuz i already have my before up

can u get a sound clip? im not saying it doesnt have a cam, but if you have no knowledge of the install actually taking place and arent used to the sound it may just be agressive exhaust.

the thing about cams is you really hear it at idle, and at higher rpm it is harder to distinquish that classic "cammed" sound (on smaller cams you can increase the idle and get rid of alot of the lope... sleeper), but exhaust tone is different.  it can be more subdued at idle, but really noticable at higher rpm or under load.  this is exactly hwo my exhaust is now.   its almost difficult to tell if the car is on when sitting in it, but if you barely touch the throttle it starts to bark.

haha. the guy we bought it from has proof of EVERYTHING for the car, and has all stock parts, so if it was cammed, he is/was hiding it. also, the guy said he dyno'ed around 380, and all he admits is done to it is ntake, and full exhaust.

this car was WELL taken care of, never driven in rain or anything. so i dont know why he'd hide a cam from us.
