what about time catagories. intergenerational catagory for cars that have been at the track. do you guys think we have enough 12,11,10.... sec cars to make this work? I know there arent many guys in my dyno thread but i think ive seen more track times in sigs than hp numbers.

- 1st
- 2nd
- 3rd
- 4th gens
- outsiders
These are the only ones that have seemed to have universal support. I like the idea of separating out by value and performance, because that mixes up the generations somewhat, but i agree with Slvr that its kinda goofy to just go by price. We need something more concrete, because if u have ever looked at the classifieds at tech, a newer fbody can be anywhere from 6k-25k also, i havent heard much support for the v6 (unless i missed it, other than stic5) but I may have to just pull rank and get that on there. I really think the v6 guys need a month where they dont have to compete with v8 cars. Lets face it, v8's tend to pull more votes, but there are still some cool v6 cars around. one thing we could do to diversify is to use the 2nd round of generational months for v6 only. i.e. there are 2 months a year for 3rd gens, but 1 is for v8, 1 is for v6. just a thought

oh yeah, i forgot we were gonna do generations twice a year, not once. PS - Yenko thinks we should do outsiders before he sells his car

I like the idea of a v6 category and then have a v8 also so that 1st through 4th gens can compete.

i think best picture does alot for whoever wins as it is. this is a Ride of the month, so it needs to be the car that wins, not the owner, and photography skill is related to the owner. also, nominations would get weird if the person has to first submit a photo and then get nominated.
