the v6 month was going to be all gens, or at least thats how I intended it.  We really shouldnt be catering just to 1 generation.  when all is said and done everyone needs equal representation.   I kinda like the idea of overall.   that may be a januaryor december competition.   ROTY or something , across all generations.   thats kinda cool.

im pretty sure we will stay with 2 rounds of generational ROTM.  I really would discourage splitting up 1st and 2nd gens because there just arent many of them around that ive seen.  the 3rds could run into that trouble too.  4th gens could easily be separated by early/late, but do we really want to make that division?  then we wont have a chance for a 95z28 to compete against a 99 for example, and those can get interesting.

the main focus needs to be on those 4 wildcard months.   1 slot is going to v6, and that is intergenerational (even if your father disaproves of those relationships... hes old fashioned).  Ive seen pretty much universal support for the outsiders ROTM (which makes me happy, because the only firebird forum ive found suckzorz )    so what we really need is 2 more fun months.

So I think what we will do is put it up to a vote, ill take the discussed options and the top 2 get it.
  • ROTY - thanks to maroman, kidna (but thats what overall ROTM kinda is, championship.... ish...)
  • Track times (favorite 12 second car or something like that, but the catagory will be based on track times)
  • car value (i think it could get hairy, but if u guys really want it we can find a way to make it work)
  • LS1/LT1 (If this one gets a substantial amount of votes we could just divide up the 2 4th gen rotm's)
  • overall v8
  • T-Tops only (the suggested one was verts, but i havent seen enough verts to make that interesting)
  • camaros by color (intergenerational)

remember, these are for a top 2 vote.  Ill get the poll up here in a bit.  if any of u guys have some last minute suggestions u are dying to get on here let me know, we can make it a good long list.    I will allow users to select multiple entries, i dont think i can restrict it to 2 votes, but seriously if anyone is voting for everything thats just ghey.  Keep in mind the idea is an exciting competition, something with good noms and a close race.

I like the idea of having the ROTY between all the camaros for the month of december. I came up with it as I was reading the first page, and only now realized that Im not the first one.

I also think we need to have an overall best drag car month.

And how about best sounding car?

I think ROTY and Track times would be good personally.  I think the vert/T-top one is kinda futile since the cars don't look too different.  Car value is kinda sketchy, as you pointed out earlier Specter, LT1/LS1 is another 4th gen month.  Color would be ok, but that could just turn into a "what's your favorite generation" think, and the first gens always dominate that because they're amazing...

The random color months or t-top months could be cool.
So would a Firebird month

I understand u would want that, but that is not the case, the generation months are 1st gen camaro, 2nd gen camaro.... ect...

if the outsider month gets approved by the general public then guys like u and me can compete, otherwise we just get to play along and vote.

Outsider ROTM doesn't bother me a bit. Especially if my Mounty can take part.

Yea, the two camaros I owned werent different in anything but bumpers badging and interior from the firebird. However the Firebird gets the ladies more

And since there seems to be a general performance thing like LS1 LT1 going you could do a categorty like stock only, might be boring but it would be cool to see some mint F-bodies. And then a modified category, something along those lines.
