Why are only meteoralp45 and specter the ones mentioned with Firebirds?
Wheres the love for the sixxers and non-t/a's?
Haha just bitchiin a little but dont include firebirds in the generational months, I agree with specter, it is Camaroforums.

I didnt read the whole thread, I did like the 'project car' suggestion - it will give us buisy bodies a chance.  Also I saw a sugestion for 'other cars'  If not different makes, at least a general F-Body month.  If these have already been mentioned just consider them 'seconds'.

Others could be just a firebird month, but there arent that many of us.  I  was thinking about openning it up to everyone.   we have some pretty sweet rides around here.

I wouldn't want to stick it to just Firebirds or Firebird derivatives, then how could Yenko compete with his Ion!  I do think we should restrict it to it has to be your car, so Yenko, no posting up your Dad's Vette!

the ION would smoke the 'other' competition... we all know that! and i honestly dont think the vette would win much. lol. many more better looking cars here, my dad's is basically stock on the apperance side. but you have to own the car? damn. i'm hoping to not have my ION by march 8th.. lol and next month isnt 'other' cars

Well I think we need to break up the Appearance from Perofrmance.

We could have a general month for the best looking Camaro and another month for the best performing Camaro. And by performing we'd mean acceleration, handling, breaking - just the best car to drive around fast speeds. And then the month after that would be a generally best Camaro - one that would combine the appearance and performance.

I updated the rules for ROTM.   go check those out.   I included many of the ideas we heard here.  However, we didnt get enough of them with universal and overwhelming support to warrant a vote, so they are all just listed in there as possibilities.   This year however look foreward to another round of Gen's, at least 1 v6 competition, outsiders, and ROTY.   maybe something goofy and random, well see.   regardless of what happens we will get lots of pics of lots of cars worth drooling over and the competition will be fun.

Specter, are you just getting a feel for what extra catagories we want here and going to have us vote in another thread? Or are you looking for complete agreement in here?

at first i was going to put it up to a vote, however we only got a large amount of support for a few of them.   some of the others that would be cool are difficult to implement (car price for example)  some of the others require more than one month to make it make sense (like fav color, we would need a couple-few months to get some different colors, 1 month for all black cars is kinda lame if reds/blues ect cant compete in their own).   some of the others would be really cool, but we are just too small to make it an actual competition (convertibles).   For the remainder of this year the topics are going to stay pretty broad for these reasons.   I want to be able to draw from a large batch of active members each month.   all of the topics we have talked about will not be forgotten, and if anyone can PM me with suggestions at any time, and I may even add them to the bank in the rules thread.  As soon as we get more people some of these other catagories will be more practicle.

just for poops and giggles (ha... poop....)  ill throw a poll up here.   everyone has multiple votes, but limit yourself to 3 votes (i cant actually limit u i dont think).   the poll will be indefinit.  as people come in they can just throw in for what they want to see.
