Bore it .30 over and call it a day, put a 400 crank in it and you have a 396, that''s usually as big as people go on LT1''s.

actually 95slvr that would make it a 383 but u can go wit a 396 and that usually is the biggest

Obviously 383/396 is the largest total displacement people go, but I could have sworn I''ve heard of people just boring the block .40, or .60 over. i wanted to know if some insane person has gone .80 or something.

A 383 is a 350 with a 400 crank, if you bore that 350 .30 over (it would be a 355 with the stock crank) and then throw in the 400 crank you get a 396.

you need a custom crank to get a 396, its a 3.875 stroke

Sorry, a 355 with a crank for a 383 would give you ~388 ci, I should have whipped out the calculator sooner
