I have exactly what ninety six yenko had. It's extremely loud.. sounds crazy good.. or at least I like it, but ya can hear the backfires a lot. I don't mind, my friends are impressed, and i'm happy.

yeah. it sounds pretty good. i was thinking about straight piping it just to make it louder  but i dont want it to sound ricey.   i have heard that glass packs only sound good on classic cars....but never even heard it on a newer one. so.....cant really say.

You'll blow out the packing in glass packs within a couple months and then you'll be running straight pipes, just throwing that out there for some food for thought.

you are a young kid that seems to think before he steps and I think that's a good thing. your mechanic was right, straight pipes on your car would sound like crap. if you notice all these guys that tell you to use straight pipes or glasspacks, are all saying their cars sound "loud and great". a loud car doesn't mean a nice sounding car, and that gets old real quick.

glasspacks have even fallen out of favor, for the most part, with us classic car guys, because there are so many better choices out there these days

also, with a V-6 you will lose a lot of performance with a stock engine and too freeflowing of an exhaust. on top of all that, a young kid with just an obnoxiously loud car is just the perfect reason for a cop to pull you over (trust me on that one)

yep, i think they are garunteed for 3 months(i think also like 5kmi). and that was why i bought the purple hornies. IMO, for 50 bucks a glasspack, it's deffently worth it. but thats me.
