i like the 3" tips. accents back end a little better. i also like the rectangular-ish tips. that are like 4 inches wide and 2 inches tall or whatever they are.

race style does not have the little tubes for the EGR and AIR systems.   98-00 have EGR and AIR, 01+ have only the AIR tubes because those cars didnt have an EGR system

if you have emissions you NEED to get the one for your year, because both systems are visually inspected in emissions, and if they are missing u fail

do u have to bring ur car in once a year (or however often) and get it inspected?  then u probably have emissions testing.

u have both AIR and EGR systems on ur car.   if u get the later model one it doesnt have EGR tubes on the header.   if u get the race style one it doesnt have either.  look on the passenger side of ur engine, on the exhaust manifold there are 2 tubes coming out of there, 1 is egr, one is air.  the EGR sits right in front of ur pass side head, and has a black mesh-covered tube that comes straight up, does a 180, and comes straight down into the intake manifold directly behind the throttle body.  there is also an aditional AIR pipe on the drivers side exhaust manifold.

if you have deleted both of these parts u can get race headers, if not u need the 98-00 headers.  if u deleted only the EGR u can get the new style headers
