i was looking for something to raise the rear one or two inches so i have more clearance, ive seen some of the adjustable shock sets but it seems in their descriptions they are more adjustable for ride comfort rather than height which i was looking for, any sugestions ?

QA1 coil overs or air shocks, other wise you need a taller spring

the QA1's only have coilovers in the front, or at least in the kit that I have.  The spring is where u want to go, best bet may be to go to GM and get a v6 rear spring set.   alot of guys will swap those in because they are softer and allow for better weight transfer on the launch

my bad, i didnt see that.   thats odd, cuz im usually checking through all the new threads.    The best way to do this is to get a taller spring, unless he wants to spend the cash then some shocks wont hurt him.

full coilovers arent really necessary.   ride hight doesnt affect ur launch quite as much as ur suspension geometry.  this is why most kits are only front coilovers, the back just sits based on the spring, and the front is adjusted to above, below, or neutral.

i think i paid 700-800 for my kit which included LCA's but no brackets, but again these were only front coilovers.   1k sounds a little high for me for an entire kit still tho
