hmm that does make sense about the headers...
but the only problem is that it will cut into my budget :/

but if they are that much better to spend the extra cash on then ill just  wait and save up for them, because i rather go for quality than price when it comes to this kind of stuff, and if the difference between the Pacesetters and the Kooks is really worth it then im gonna get it.

your car will be loud if you get the slp and the headers, especially if its a LM1, i heard it makes a gurglign sound or something, kinda gritty... but it does free up some horsepower...

Thats the only reason I went with pacesetters.   Pacesetters + ORY for 500 on sale from TSP.   cant beat that.   I should have gotten better gaskets cuz the ones that come with are complete crap, but i havent had problems yet, and if i do it wont be hard to change the gasket.   ud be surprised how much room LT's give u in the engine bay.   i can get at all my spark plugs now no problem

Tuned long tubes don't quite give you that same room, trust me  Some of my plugs got easier, some of them got waayy harder, not that any of them are easy in the first place.  Stupid LT1...

But I'll take my extra torque any day!

Here's a pic of my headers before they went on, you can see why they didn't help plugs much, espeically if you compare the room/primary size to a picture of Pacesetter LT1 headers.

Spartan, we've been over this before!

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=DTC%2D114%2D831350&N=700+4294908216+4294840140+4294889104+4294924755+4294908198+115&autoview=sku

They're a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for most of the time.  Plus, a long tube is going to get you better torque numbers than the midtube, and if you have to replace the Y pipe anyway you may as well go for the gold and get long tubes.

If you're going to pay $730 for Hooker Super Comps why don't you take the next step and get Kooks?
