Turbo, its always there, you dont have to refill it and the power is there when needed. It might cost more at first but in the long run it will save you time & money. You could easily run about 7-8psi without changing the internals of the engine. However at 15psi you DOUBLE the amount of Horsepower the engine make alone. At 15psi you would most likely have to change internals to make around 8.0:1-8.5:1 Compression Ratio. Personally I think the turbo would be more dependable and cheaper in the long run.

like spectar said as far as cheaper in the long run it would be the loooong loooong run....60 bucks a bottle and 6 grand or more for a turbo installed and you can generally get 20 sprays or more  from a bottle ...... so thats like 100 bottles  X 20 sprays = 2000 runs thats alot alot alot of nitious runs....the only real issue with nitrous is as pete said legallity

personaly, im a fan of nos... have it on my GTP, and on going on my blown C5 corvette...  But one thing was stated that is false... when you instal nitrous on your STOCK motor, you WILL need to drop the timing by 4 degrees on the LT1 when your doing your runs... Now, being a computor controlled engine, thats hard to do... so what you can do is get ( I forget the name) its a switch that will drop it for you when you go to use the spray...  Or else get the computor programmed to be constantly running 4 degrees less... You will get better MPG, but lose about 15 HP... If you DONT do this, then after about 6 or so runs, depending on the HP jets your using, you will grenade your engine.  I can promise you that.  You cant just plug in and go with the NOS... Its not that easy.

get a ProCharger.  $4995 and it gives you 55-60 percent more HP.  if you can afford that go for it

and i want to clairfy from the above post from the guy with like two posts running 15 psi will not double your horse power the aproximate gain from 1 pound of boost weather that turbo or supercharger boost is 7% of your natrually asperated horse power ie....

LT1= 285 horse
1% 2.85 * 7  19.95 horse per pound of boost

19.95 * 15

299.95+ base of 285 = 584 tad moe than double but.... your going to have to do a complete rebuild to run that sort of boost

HAHAHAHA,  Hey big nic... we should put this guy in a footlocker and fill it with shaving cream!!! LOL... My STOCK BLOCK, STOCK INTERNAL GTP grand prix has more than 15lbs of boost with the blower and pulley kit I have on it... and it runs awsome... You DO NOT double the ammount of HP with 15 PSI... its more than just PSI that makes the power... If that were the case, then My vette ( also supercharged ) should have about 800 HP... hmmmmmm nope..... dont think thats the case....
