Thats about 7-8 hours away and $300 in fuel. not to my liking.

I am all for doing several regional meets. The mid west guys can meet at Byron Dragway near Rockford IL, or US41 in Morroco IN. Personally I think we need to do it at a track. US41 allows on site overnight camping (but has no showers). Byron is about 2 hours west of Chicago and US41 is about 2 hours south east of Chicago. Last summer Mustang Forums did a mid-west meet, about 8 or 10 people showed, some from as far away as OH and STL. So anyone in the mid-west who wants to do this let me know. It can possibly be a weekend event type thing, maybe in conjuntion with a larger event (Power Tour, Super Chevy Show, etc).

i live in iowa, so chicago is good for me, or nashville at the end of the summer since i always go back to visit. but chicago > nashvegas

and ls1 fbodies are what...... 13.8 according to car and driver?
