I have a 400 sbc with flat top pistons and running 350 heads with 1.5 valves. It goes quite good now and have been running on these heads for a few years now. I feel that these heads are holding back the engine and would like to swap them out to a good set of aluminum heads. Everything else is up to par. Large cam, 2800 stall converter,, 390 gears, 750 holley, headers. I had the heads rebuilt 10 years ago ported and polished, spent close to 800 buxs on them back then. It took me a few years to get it all together and running, bought the block for 1500 buxs balanced, 20 over flat top pistons. Right now it is high compression, I have to run on premium or it pings when hot. I would like a set of heads that will bring the compression down a bit to run on regular, but I would like to bring the performance up if possible. What heads do you guys recommend thanks Stuccoman
