So i was retarded and rushed putting my new rims on! I stripped 3 studs and lug nuts. Are the studs replacable some how?

I know it's not ideal, but is it ok to drive with 3 good lug nuts on one and 4 on the other while the other 2 have all 5?

I can't believe i was so newby about it, but it is what it is, so now it's time to fix up my rush **** ups! Any help.

well you might be able to go to the dealer and order new lugs and it should be as simple as knocking out the old lugs and pulling the new ones through, at least thats how mine were on another car, but im not sure on a camaro....good luck man

Well, i got a 1/2 wheel spacer, didnt work because i was a newb and didnt think about how the lug nuts wouldnt go on the short stud with it. So i think i may go order 10 longer studs, 10 new lug nuts and put them on with the wheel spacers. If there is any flaw in this idea, please let me know because i'm not 100% this is do-able, but wouldn't see why it's not. Thanks guys.

that should work. but dont go to the dealer.
if you go with regular studs and nuts(without the spacer) go to a shop, like a simple tire shop.
if you go with the spacers, contact the company you got them from and get the longer ones from them.
if you went through ebay or dont know how to contact them, just go to your local shop and take all your stuff with you. they should be able to get you longer studs or figure you out something.

hope it helped.

Studs are easy to replace. Pound out the old ones with a hammer, then get a nut from a large bolt that the cone on your lug nuts will fit into, and pull the new studs in. You should use the nut as a spacer to protect your lug nuts. It takes a little muscle sometimes, but it ain't that bad. It's safe too, as you will have more threads to grab, so your rims won't be flying off.
