Who cares?
I'd kill for a z28 lol.
Even if its beat up, you can call it a muscle car now.
Say it torqued so hard you cracked the interior...

speaking of interiors... my dash cracked today
REALLY pissed me off.
its about a 4 inch crack leading from the defrost vent
ugh.

I once had a '96 and removed the dash top to fix...I don't even remember what. I do remember accidentally cracking the damn thing though, a huge 6-8' long half moon shaped crack! That top does get brittle over the years. So from the back side, I sanded down the surface about 1" all around beyond the crack. To fix it, get yourself some fiberglass body repair cloth and cut it to size so that it covers the sanded area. Then mix up a big batch of epoxy, spread a coat on the dash panel first, then lay the cloth over it and dab it with a spatula, bondo spreader, or popsickle stick. Add some more epoxy on top of the fiberglass till it's well soaked. Look at the top side and make sure you have the crack lined up well before it sets up, holding it together with duct tape on the top side may help. When I fixed mine, I was the only one who knew it was there. Don't fix it, and it will probably only get worse.

This is what my mom did to her 88 firebird, she also put in red shag carpet and iron-on rose on the part between the window and the rear glass, sorry I don't know what that part is called.  This all happened because the roof was falling and she wanted a red and black car.
