also do you know much about aftermarket torque arms, I can pick one up with a driveshaft loop already on it but I was also wondering if the torque arm would give you very much benefits.
I have read that it helps put the power to the ground but does it actually help much.....

I would think so, if they make a better one it wouldn't hurt to toss one in. I havn't seen one but they may be out there.

might be worth it to have it welded up for support. boxed in if it's stamped steel.

I say ford 9" all the way. The only thing ford every made good. For one they are bullet proof and sencond when you go to do a gfear change it takes 1/4 the time. My dads 72 camaro drag car had a 9". He had a 454 putting down alot of power and never had a problem. He ran i think 5.63 gears or somethin like that and when he wasn't racing over the winter he would put the 4.10's back in. They are so nice

ive been looking into this myself and for $2300 you can get the strange s60 and is said to be able to hande all that power the people at strange recomended it because its about the same price as the 12 bolt but stronger
