i think they are overrated personally..... 60k (good guess btw on the price) is a little too much for something like that when you could have a brand spankin new vette

The NSX was Honda's attempt to compete with Porsche's 911, etc.  The fact that it is no longer in production, while Carreras (911s) are selling at sticker price tells you something about how succesful it was in the marketplace. 
   The NSX always reminded me of a sleek, beautiful woman who was just a disappointment when you finally got her in bed.  In fairness, you have to ask something like "Is it the driver or the car?"  But the NSX's I drove were well built and fairly well engineered (although not quite Porsche quality in either area) but very anticeptic and "uninvolved" with the driver.  A great machine perhaps but an unexciting car, for some reason.

It looked kinda cheesey to me lol. Idk, just a combonation of the brand, and how weird it looked with such a long rear because of the engine placment. It looked almost fake. lol...

they're an ok car.  at high speeds they handle well, but down low they plow like dump trucks.

i've auto-x raced against one, he was half a second faster than me (and that was back when i was running with the 3.1)
