RE: You know your cars too loud when - 5/27/2008 4:37:11 PM    Lee Willis   Posts: 533 Joined: 11/22/2005 Status: offline   The NSX was Honda's attempt to compete with Porsche's 911, etc.  The fact that it is no longer in production, while Carreras (911s) are selling at sticker price tells you something about how succesful it was in the marketplace.     The NSX always reminded me of a sleek, beautiful woman who was just a disappointment when you finally got her in bed.  In fairness, you have to ask something like "Is it the driver or the car?"  But the NSX's I drove were well built and fairly well engineered (although not quite Porsche quality in either area) but very anticeptic and "uninvolved" with the driver.  A great machine perhaps but an unexciting car, for some reason. _____________________________ Aston Martin Vantage V8 Lincoln MKZ daily driver 1998 Camaro w. 408/AFR heads, etc.,+NOS street/strip (in reply to camaro_burns_all) Post #: 12
