What are your guys'' opinions on this?
http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1088

Not even sure if it would bolt up on a v6, but assuming it will, would it be worth it?

I was either going to do that along with some kind of ram-air hood or just buy a lid/bellows kit.

Thoughts?

ive posted my thoughts on this kinda stuff 100.2 times but i like you 98 so here we go. there are two parts to an intake. a filter and tubing..... filters are like 20 bucks even nice ones...so there chargeing you 250 bucks for tubing.... cus it has there name on it. so long as the inside of the tubes are smooth and the design is simple so the air dosent have to flow through a whole bunch of bends. tubing is tubing is tubing is tubing is tubing .... its all the same go to ebay get a intake for 60 bucks and you will get the exact same gains.

Haha, thanks for dealing with me Nic
I''m usually a DIYer so if this was more worth it than just doing a lid/bellows kit, I''d probably attempt to make my own.

So I guess my only question now is: Is this set up more worth it than if I just got a free flowing lid and deleted my bubble silencer things?

I''ll need the lid even though I shaved my own because the back of my lid is an oval shape and my TB is circular and its kinda hard to find a mate for both of those at Home Depot lol.
