This LS1 powered convertable 1969 camaro has all the creature comforts and handling mods you want or need to enjoy a nice summer day cruisin or laying down some black patches at your local donut shop. It took some of time to fabricate the one off tubular front clip and rear tubular frame rails but the end result is awsome i hope you agree. Check out the pics of the almost finished project and i''''ll download some of the build later.

Nice looking car.  I dont think I like the exhaust out of the rear too much though.  And the mazda rotary gig has to go.

Sorry, but I would disagree on the exhaust. I like the rear outlets, something different.
RPM, I have a couple of questions. We have used the same fuel delivery system you have, MSD pump and the Corvette style filter with built-in reg. Problem we have found is sometimes we get unstable pressures, you ever experience this? Also, it looks like you have Wilwood SRP discs, why did you need a residual valve? Were there problems with bias, does the system have an adjustable prop valve?
Like the look of the wheels too.

thank you for the compliment, as for the fuel system no problems at this time. knock on wood it will work just fine. we do have a proportional valve in front of the four link mount for the lower bar. The line pressure also has not been an issue for us as we have not driven the car yet.
I will post some pics and some more info when we do.
if you have any other questions or need some parts we may have some spare stuff for a 69.

Its hard to tell with everything black how are you handling the rigidty issue with the first gen rag tops. Mine is all orginal and when I looked at upgrading a suspention a few years back I was told the first step was adding frame connector or a roll cage. Anything else I would do would be a waste of time except brakes. It looks like you removed the factory center support?

The weak spot is the area between the the rear frame rail and the back mounting point of the sub-frame. It was known to be a weak spot before the cars where ever built. Engineer did not want to put the 396 in the soft top but did so due to markting pressure. They flat out refused to make a Z28 gen 1 rag top for this reason. There is one exception that was not suppost to be sold to the public.

It looks like someone has spent 10''''s of thousands of dollars on supension parts on that car. I would really like to know how the center was supported enough to handle the increase body twist those new part are going to add and even be able to remove the factory center support.

The twist and support was taken into consideration when building this super car but with the double rail and frame conectors also the new style frame structure in the rear for the triangulated four link it was found to be enough for this car. There is bracing in places in this car that you may not see. We would extend an offer to look a bit closer at this ride but we are in the process of putting this car together for a show in march of 09 in Toronto. The cross brace in the car is not installed but a new engineered one for this car is being powdercoated it is laser cut and shows the builders trademark on it as well. I do thank you for all the questions and look forward to anymore you my have. We are starting a new one for the same owner that will be a more balls out supercar with possibly a twin turbo and 6 speed viper trans with 08 vette front suspention and a truck arm rear suspention for all out tunabillity. The car will sport 20 x 14 rear rims and 18 x 8 front. keep your eyes peeled for more picks. The boys at RPM/WEBBER CHASSIS have there hands full this year.
