So im on my way home and i see a mustang gt convertable 05-08 body style. So as im pulling through the intersection i rev it at him, and he takes a right and fallows me for a while just kind of hanging back not reallly looking like he wants to race. So then i go to turn off onto another street and he fallows me. Then he just kinda hangs out in my blind spot for a while untill finally he floors it and gets about 1/2 car ahead of me. Then i get on it too we went from about 40-110 with me being ahead in the end by about 1-1/2 cars. So now im 2-0 against new mustangs

Status: online The 3 valve mustang is a mid to high 13 second car. However the convertable adds about 250 or more pounds to the car. Good kill

Thanks man, im going to the track tomarrow if it doesnt rain (which it will it does almost every day in iowa). Im hoping for a 13.7

Status: online The 3 valve 4.6 is a great car a hell of a lot better then the old 2 valve. The car is fun to drive and handles good for what it is. I have a friend with a 05 to this day he still thinks it will take a LS1 He is now bolted with headers, mid pipe, slp exhaust, K&N intake and a tuner his best tiem to date is a 13.4 . That was at the same track that i was runing 13.3s at stock

yeah theyre pretty cool. but at the end of the day its still a mustang so it sucks. haha just kidding if i didnt have my camaro id probably have a sn95.

no of corse it rained, but i orded a g tech unit so i can have a better idea of where i am

Status: offline Let''s just say... Ford can''t make an auto to save their lives.... The manual outperforms an auto so bad in a Mustang... The manuals run mid to high 13s... Autos in the 14s... Ford fails again

Mustang owners think the mighty LS1 is overrated. I just let them know it isn''t a corvette-engine for nothing.
