Hey all, I''m finally getting around to do some more work on the Camaro again. I had to buy new headlamp bezels for the camaro as the one''s that were slapped in there were out of a 68 and didn''t have the locations for the limit switches. I was wondering is it always a chore to get the bezel''s to allign just right or do you have to do some shimming here and there and maybe a great deal of cursing? The drivers side is giving me fits and I hate to do any grinding on the new bezels to make them work but it look as though that''s what it is going to take. Thanks, Jason

Given the "factory gaps" on the older cars, if it doesn''t line up, then it likely rolled off the assembly line that way. Panel "fit and finish" was not as tight as it is with newer cars. If you just have to get them lined up (and trust me, I understand your anal retentiveness), then just do what you have to do to get them that way. Just take your time and go slow. Also, any chance that one of the bezels was a little off? A manufacturing defect perhaps?

I suppose it''s possible that one of the bezels are defective given my past luck. I''ll take a closer look when I get a chance to fiddle with it. Thanks for the reply.
