I just saw a commercial on speed for this stuff called scratch doctor. It seems to be able to just wipe scratches away. Has anyone used this? Does it work? Because i have a few scratches i wouldn''t mind getting rid of.

it does work but only on very fine little scratchs any thing that is deep it will not get it out,it only works on scratchs that do not go deeper than the clear coat.

^ what he said

When I replaced my wiper blades, I accidentley jerked it out to hard and got a fairly big scratch right on the upper part of my hood. It wasn''t a really deep scratch but I was pissed thinking I might not be able to get it out. Well when I went back into pep boys to get my radiator flush, I picked up a bottle of the Nu Finish Scratch Doctor. (It''s only $10)

I tried it once on the hood and it didn''t come out so now I was really worried. I applied it once more and let it sit a bit longer and used a bit more. When I took it off i scrubbed a little bit and the scratch actually did come out. There''s a little part of the scratch that still shows but it looks way better then before.

I also tried using it on other scratched on my car and got about 2 more out. You can''t expect it to work on all of them but it''s definetely worth the price if you got some light scratched you want to remove.

Been there, done that, passed on the t-shirt, didn''t work.

I tried this stuff on some light scratches on my Yukon from twigs brushing against the sides, and it did next to nothing. But, my dad did it on his white Silverado, and he said it worked for him, so maybe it just doesn''t do will on dark colors.

Before I stumbled across my Yukon, I was looking to sell my Blazer and buy a 3rd gen or an LT1 4th gen, and I still plan on picking up a nice F-body sometime in the future, probably after college. But now I go back and forth between the fullsizechevy.com forums and CF.

Scratch Doc. was a disappointment for me, I haven''t even used it since.  What I''ve found to work excellent though is (in order of application) 1. Meguire''s 3-Step Paint Cleaner 2. Meguire''s 3-Step Crystal Polish 3. Zaino Z-5 4. Nu Finish or Mother''s Carnuba Wax both are good sealants.
