i need a fuel pump and gas tank my friend has them both but from a 1997 firebird  will they work please help need to know tonight  thank you

yes, if its from a v8 it may be a larger capacity size, but it will fit

How many miles does the fuel pump have on it? It might be better to get a new one while you have it out....SFC

I think it will fit, Im not sure though. Early fourth gens had steel gas tanks and the later ones had plastic gas tanks. That, and the different sizes dont vary from v6 to v8, the fuel pump capability will, not the volume of the tank though. You''ll also need to make sure its the same size, the early ones had 14.5 gallon tanks and some of the later ones had 16.5. I think thats right, if my memory serves me right.
