I have a question...

Will the entire SLP Performance Intake Package install/ work properly on a 2000 V6? I see on all the auto parts websites that the ENTIRE package is only for the V8. I also see that they offer just the box for the V6. When you look at the install instructions though...it says Install Instructions for V6 and V8....confused.

I am looking to get an intake system for my ride...just wanna get a good one. I heard that the SLP Intake Kit works best with the entire system.

Help fellow V6ers.

The lids are different. The only thing they''re talking about on the installation is the metal air tray that slides down in front of your radiator. If you want, you can buy the metal tray, a decent filter, and a whisper lid and have the exact same set up basically.
