how much would it run me to get a 350 motor? used would be an option. and would i need to change out my transmission? it''s a five speed manual.

Cost depends on how you shop. And since you already have a V8 then you can use the same tranny

what kind of 350 are you looking for, long block, short block, one that needs rebuilt, one that is running, i can get you any one of them i have about 6 of them at my shop. if you need one let me know.
