87, 305 tune port IROC, tach stopped working. New tach, module, and coil. Checked the voltage coming off the coil and the distributor and seems to be fine. Any suggestions from here. Thanks, Shortyroc59

There is not much to it. A power wire that also sends power to other gauges so if they work then that should be fine. Ground wire which also supplies other gauges and a white wire from the coil which is the signal wire. Posible the plug on the coil went bad. Sopme times the wires are bent real bad and may eventualy get a short in them.

Thanks for the info. I think it''s my remote starter thats'' cutting out the tach because everything else is new and when I bypass the ignition system and take the tach out of the car and wire it directly it does work.
