I Have had both 650 edelbrock on my 84 3/4 ton chevy and the 750 holley that is on my camaro The biggest issues that i had with the Holley was when i was setting the timing i had it pop back through the carb i screwed up the blow back valve and also the jetting was not right for the elevation. I did have it rebuilt and rejetted at the same time for the elevation differance, they placed in on a flow meter and it has been perfect since.

wow awesome swap. but  if you were gonna spend 5k get some better flowing heads with the mounting holes so you dont have to mess with the brackets. also you might think a bout some subframe connectors so the car wont twist.

pat
p.s. you kinda stole my swap idea after i get through school.... at least ill see how it works lol

and no one knows what kinda heads these are.

If you ever have your valve covers off, write down the casting number that''s on the heads and look it up, or post it here.

Heads are off a 68 LTI Camaro, casting #’s are 3947041 and 8890462, these are sought after GM castings with excellent flow characteristic’s..

One thing you might want to consider is those heads will have a small chamber (64cc). Thats all good if your wanting higher compression but not good if you have a mild cam and want to run pump gas.
