and gm13 on both

Are you sure it''s not 3890462? Can''t find any such animal as 8890462.
3890462 are either 1966-67 327/350, 1.94 intake, 1.5 exhaust, 63 cc chamber or
1966-67 302/327, 2.02 intake, 1.6 exhaust, 63 cc chamber
h136 and h106 are the cast date, Months are stamped from A-L (January-December)
h=August, 10 & 13 is day of the month, 6=year, 1966
That would explain your lack of mounting holes, since they are pre-1968 heads as I earlier stated they might be.
Those heads are a small chamber, you''ll definitely need to burn premium gas.

You sure it ran fine? Test drive? Heared it? Hear say? To its full potential? My in-law bought a "good running" sb from mexicans. well they thought a cam with rounded lobes and dished lifters was a good runner.

It would not hurt to check with your machine shop connection for a set of heads with bigger chambers and accessori holes. It might cost you some cash with a trade for those heads. They may even be able to give the straight popp on how "sought after" they really are.

now im getting nervous about clearing the gear box in that 3rd gen.
initial measurements are kinda close.
but ill have a short water pump so i think itll just make it.

i dont mean to bump in and steal a thread, but i got a quick question. i have heads on my car that i cannot for the life of me fine a CC for. the numbers are 14102193. i know the intake and exhaust valve sizes, but i cannot find a CC rateing for them ANYWHERE. I wanna know so i can get a more accurate combustion ratio for my engine when its  rebuilt. PM me or something if ya could. thanks.

OK, I''ll try and put this here real quick before anyone notices!
Here''s what I found:
65.3 c.c. combustion chamber
1.94" intake 1.50" exhaust valves
"This cylinder head is not a performance oriented head. It is classified as a high swirl head that was intended for good bottom end torque and fuel economy. The intake runner is restrictive because it has a ramp cast into the bottom of the bowl to promote high swirl."
