Is it possible to get 28 mpg on the highway with my mods? I did it all the time doing 60-65 on the highway and keeping the RPM''s below 2000 at all times. My friends don''t believe me and I need to prove them wrong. How is the gas mileage on the LS1''s so my friends can stop bothering me?

I have a Cam and 3:73s and average 24 highway, so I would say 28 is definitely possible. However mine is an m6, I am not too sure about an a4 but it would be less.

Yeah with my M6 and cam, heads, fast intake, 90mm TB, LT''''s...etc etc... I get about 24 or so doing 70-75. And yes 28 was what m6s made on highway from factory as stated in the link above. Whats hard to believe is that here in 08, ford with 6 more model years of stangs, can only get 23 from a 281 c.u. 4.6 and gm got 28mpg''s from a design that is 10-11yrs old and has 75 more cubes and 1.1 more liters :)
