OK GUYS HOPE SOMEONE OUT THERE KNOWS THERE STUFF SO I DONT REPLACE PARTS THAT DONT NEED REPLACING.
THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS ON A 98 CAMARO Z28.  BOTH WINDOWS NOW HAVE PROBLEMS NOW. THE DRIVER SIDE IF I PUT IT DOWN WILL ONLY GO UP A FEW INCHES AT A TIME IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET IT BACK UP ALL THE WAY.  WHEN IT GOES UP A FEW INCHES  I HAVE TO LEAVE IT ALONE FOR A FEW MINUTES AND TRY AGAIN TO GET IT A FEW MORE INCHES. THE PASSENGER SIDE USED TO BE THAT WAY NOW IT DOES NOT GO DOWN AT ALL.  IS THERE ANYONE THAT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.  IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE WINDOW MOTOR, THE WINDOW SWITCH OR SOMETHING ELSE.  THANX IN ADVANCE FOR REPLIES

before you replace the motor, disassemble all the window components, lube up the motor with wd40 and grease up all the joints and wheels on the components because they might be getting stuck and putting too much pressure on your motor. if this doesnt work then u have to replace the motor.

i can gurantee that its the window motor cause mine was doin the same thing. from what i understand is that there is a capacator built into the motor so it wont blow itself, and it wont let the window move if it is close to blowing. window motors are fairly easy to replace though luckily, i got mine from auto arts wherehouse for ~$35
