I have a 75 camaro. I just picked up a rear end with posi and disc brakes from an 88 camaro. the main differance between the two is that mine has leaf springs and the other had coil overs. i was wondering if anyone had any tips or advise for this job. ive never done these kind of modifications.

Chris,

Don''t waste your time. The 88 camaro rears are the 7.5 10 bolt they are really weak. The 70-81 had a 10 bolt 8.5. The 7.5 and the 8.5 is the ring and pinion size. The ones in my 95 is the 7.5 and it looks like a little toy. I would say stick with your original rear just put a posi and some gears in it.
