Perhaps it''s just me, but some of those shots just do not make the Camaro look all that "pleasing." The car has A LOT of angles to it...not smooth flowing lines, either. In the first set of three photos, take a look at the two silver photographs (top view and rear/side view). The top view really shows a lot of angles on the car and it just seems too much to me. In the rear/side shot, something just does not look right about it. I do not know if its the lower portion of the driver door or what. I know these are just photos and I hope it looks different in person.

I''m actually inticipating the base V6 to be in the low $20''s.  Any higher could drive potential undecided base model buyers that make up a LARGE portion of sales toward the challenger that is in the low $20''s or better yet, the Mustang that starts at $18k. Expect the top SS to be between $35-$40K

I wonder whether Chevy dealers will take notes from Ford Dealers'' playbook regarding pricing. They were marking up GT500''s in the range of $15-20k over MSRP and people actually bought them. Maybe, given the state of the economy, Chevy dealers won''t mark them up.

It all depends on supply and demand.. 05 mustangs had a huge mark up when I looked.. they were much more popular than expected so dealerships were pocketing that extra 5-10k, ford didn''t get that cash.. they were charging that much more just for the v6s..(they had 2 v6s left in august of ''05) the dealership I went to didn''t even have any GTs left.

I''ll bet the dealerships markup the first Camaro''s.. they''ll be popular..

the engine and suspension that chevy has put down on these cars, its imposssible to price the car at 20K. The v6 has the same engine and suspensions as the cadillac sts and that car is just at 30k. This question has been gone over many times in all different forums. Expect the price i first suggested, and to be near it.

V6 Camaro: 300hp $30k
or
V8 Mustang: 300hp $26k

??

I simply dont think the new Camaro can really be a direct competitor to the Mustang

I think that there will be some people that still want the nice sporty Camaro but want gas mileage aswell so they will go with the V6 Camaro for $4000 more than the over-played Mustang GT for $26k
