Ill wait it out. If i were to sell my blazer i probably couldnt get more than $3000 for it and then with birthday money and my next paycheck n such ill be lucky if i have around 3500. Also i would need to find a Camaro around Washington lol. I dont make tons of money and certainly dont have any laying around to buy an LS1. Idk the need for a V8 is kinda weighing on me more than waiting til after basic (which would be like mid to late november) and my signing bonus etc. from the army. a 4th gen is prefered but a nice clean 350 3rd gen wouldnt be bad either.

no i do know what i want. I want a V8. I have two options however, find something less expensive now to dink around with and wait about a year so i can get the big fish. Or just keep the blazer, be unsatisfied with its power and wait about a year for that trans am of my dreams.

the blazer will probably have less problems than a 20 something year old third gen, wouldnt it?

You''d think so anyway, but I had problem after problem with my 98 Blazer.

Fuel pump assembly, gas gauge, oil leak(s), rear end fragged, axle shaft bent, never could get the problems with the front suspension sorted out, my E-brake never worked, and the transmission was on its way out when I sold it with about 146k miles on it. It was a POS.

Save your money and get what you want with no regrets, but there is nothing wrong with a good third gen
