It''s the sound and tone that''s different.

It''s just what sound you prefer.  Go on youtube and look up some clips to see which one you like.

on a seriouse note youtube may give you some kind of a idea on the sound but it is very limiting.  Best thing to do would be to ty and find someone you can listen to in person.

flowmaster sounds the best imo. mangaflow gets to scratchy for me.

but if emissions issues isnt the problem go without your caddy converter, i ran my 3.8 one day without them, loud but it lets everybody know your coming.

or just cut your muffler off and run a pipe from there, gives a hollow underwater sound.

Magnaflow by far dude and SLP LM for the second choice. There is a reason Magnaflow is more expensive and that is because it''s much better quality exhaust, stainless steel piping and stainless steel muffler. Flowmaster hums too much for me. Not many people are willing to spend $430 on Magnaflow exhaust for a V6 but I was one of the few that did. I loved the sound of my Magnaflow on my 3.8 and so did anyone that heard it. I had my cat on it but I imagine without it, it would sound even better. I may have a very opiniative view on this but thats because I was amazed at how good it sounded for a V6. Listen to some clips and go with what you like, I''m just stating what I think you would like.

I have always heard that the Magnaflows were built a little better but all of them on the Camaros I have heard sound like rice in a wok. Do you have a sound clip of yours? Do you have headers on yours as well?

Edelbrock SDT mufflers have a nice tone IMO. Even on a V6.
