New to the forum guys, I need some help and from everything I read on the Internet so far I get conlicting info.
I have a 71 SS and am trying to figure out what the biggest tire and widest rim I can get under the back of the car using a 17" wheel.

I have been told anything from a 265 to a 295.

Any help would be appreciated! Let me know if you have a wheel tire combo that works, backspacing etc....
