Recently when I first start driving my clutch seems to have no back pressure when releasing, as in when I release the peddle it doesn''t come all the way back to the starting point, instead it says about half way pressed to where it''s right after the contact point. Also the contact point is much closer (about 3 inches) to the floor than usual. Eventually after the car warms up after about 20 min and after I pump the clutch a few times it goes somewhat back to normal with the clutch going back to starting point but very little pressure to do so. I''ve had a clutch go out on me before but it happened all at once. My camaro does have almost 100k miles on that clutch, is this the normal life of a clutch? I do not drive my camaro hard at all. I''ve never red lined it and have never had trouble with the clutch up to this point. Is this a sign that my clutch is gradually going out? Thanks for the help guys.

Sounds like it may be an air problem.

Did you ever replace the release bearing, clutch plate, or clutch disc?

Try bleeding the clutch.

Sometimes you can crack the bleeder at the slave cylinder, open the cap on the master cylinder and inject brake fluid into the slave cylinder and it will push air out the top of master cylinder. I''m not to familiar with it myself, id look for more detailed guides and assistance.
