I just got this project, a 6 speed convert. with a bad engine.
Having never worked on these, I''m not sure the best way to remove it. Someone suggested droping the subframe and take everything out the bottom. Is this correct?
I''m no stranger to engine removal, just don''t want to work any harder than necessary.
Any helpfull suggestions greatly appreciated.

ALSO, I noticed two other Camaro - Firebird 6 speed LT1 cars listed on Craigs List with thrown rods. Is this a problem with these cars?
