when i get on the gas in my car my gear shifter starts shaking. it''s more prominent while in the lower gears, (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) where there is more torque. i really doubt it being the rear end, could it be the drive shaft? i was told by one of my mechanics that the carrier bearing was starting to go bad, but it would hold up for a while. that was at least 6 months ago, so maybe it''s finally getting ready to break?

Check the motor and transmissiom mounts, also make sure the engine is not misfiring.

The engine isn''t misfiring. I was actually thinking it could be the transmission mounts as well, seeing as how I had a new transmission installed quite a few months back. Maybe it just came loose over time, because it was fine until a few days ago.
