So the other day i go to start my car, and it didn''t.  well i went back into my house to get something, i was in there for about 5 minuets and after i went back outside my car started up fin, but there was a ticking sound coming from my dash around where the steering wheel is, the sound did go away after a couple of minuets.  Just today when i started my car it started it started making that ticking sound and for a little bit and then went away.  Anybody have any idea what this could be, i was thinking it was some kind of electrical problem, but than again i don''t know anything.

Check your battery terminals for corrosion or see if the connections are tight. If they are corroded clean them.

Also check to see if your terminal bolts are cross-threaded.
