well i havent takin it down the strip yet but i plan 2 the car has 68,000 miles on body and motor and big plus matching vins almost no rust and yes it burns tires so good did like a 100ft burnout in it when i got it. when i burnd um it hit 6300 rpm and i thought better quit befor i blow it but on the way hom i maxed out the speedo and it felt like it still wanted to go well i try to keep yall up to date where im at with my hotrod resto

alright heres the deal, if you are lookin for a t56 tranny look on ebay, i found one for about $2000 brand new, which is a damn good deal, if you have a boneyard in the area go look there, people will throw out cherry stuff not knowing what they have. a buddy sold a 84 camaro body for $300 after he pulled his 454 out of it, not realizing the guy before his had put a t56 in it. so basically someone just got a bad ass tranny for $300 and a car body as a gift. all im sayin is look around before you jump into anything. itll be well worth it. guaranteed
