I used to do that all the time. I would take my car to a front-end shop for the free estimate and let them diagnose the problem, then I would go home and fix it myself. it saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of wasted time and effort.

also t4nk, I don't believe you said before that your dad is a mechanic. he should be able to help you out on this one.


As a former shop owner you are the type of person I hated to deal with. Your type waisted my time making it harder for me to put food on the table. The porpose of the free estimate is to get the work in the door. All your doing is taking from a hard working guy trying to make a living.
