Alright this might be a stupid question, but can you paint your rims? I always wanted black rims, but got silver, and dont feel like paying 800+ for a set, if anyone can give me pointers on doing that, or a nice less expensive site for black ones let me know! thanks a bunch

yes you can paint them, what you have to do is clean the rim extensively with some heavy cleaner, then use a dremel to try and get the deep scratches out of it, then paint your wheels with some high heat paint. done

I believe you can buy a kit from AutoZone or some place like that to paint your rims

you dont really HAVE to clear coat

im not even sure they make a clear to handle that heat from the brakes

they kit from autozone works good if used properly, ive experienced with it b fore and the heat from the brakes didnt effect it, so i would give it a try.
