Sounds like an idea had for my IROC hood, make a cut at the front of the hood and, long story short, have a ram-air system in effect. Just, that darned water...

you know i know alot about camaros so let me tell how to handle this situation. when it rains removed the plastic covers that have drilled holes. go to junk yard get the plastic covers with no holes and replace.get it very easy actually

the vents on a camaro LT1 are way to far back to do anything with the intake system, even the SS hood scoop is a bit to far back, besides RAM AIR doesnt make your car any faster than a good Cold air intake system FYI.

what kind of CAI would you suggest? I am running in to that problem of them being to far back i might just open up the vents but not use them and buy a CAI.
