Help i just got a camaro from my aunt a 77 camaro LT1. She finally sent me the keys and i tried to turn them in the lock cylinder but they wouldnt budge i tried moving the steering wheel. i think its the igniton lock cylinder. i got to the igniton switch i just cant figure out how to get it out. if you think its anything else let me know please


Its the standard steering column

are yousure she sent the right key's? if so then it sounds like it is rusted into that position.the only thing I can think of doing is taking the lock cylender out and seeing if the key matches up to it and see if it is rusted on the inside or not.

yup better off changing the lock cylinder first, its pretty easy
