The block nor the heads were decked. with a 62 cc head the pistons are rated at an 11:1 ratio and in sick's compression ratio calculator it came up with the 14.3:1

If you want give me your bore size, head gasket thickness and bore, head chamber size, block deck height(9.025 stock), piston volume +- if they are dished they may be greater than 8cc you gave, I will calculate it for you.

His calculator is real close to mine though(I found it after the post).

4.040" stock deck height, I don't know about the headgasket thickness, 49CC combustion chamber size, -8CC dish piston.

I only came up with 11.7:1. 49 cc head, 9.025 deck, 4.04 bore, 5.7 stroke, -8 cc dish Ill double check it later

Got about the same with desktop dyno. 0 deck it and you will be at 12.5:1

Sorry I messed up used the wrong stroke should have been 12.5 @.025 deck/13.5 @0 deck depends on head gasket thinkness, ring lands, true chamber volume. Again sorry about that. GRIFF

The expandable foam is a great idea. The 230's are too big a runner for a 383, Won't make any power below 6000RPM, too much air tumbling and not enough airspeed. VP C16 is the best fuel out there for a Rael high comprecssion engine, massive amount of hydrocarbons slowing the burn rate. Hope this helps.
