Cool! How ironic is this? I'm about the same age as you(20),have about the same year model car, have both had S10s(my first vehicle) and both Camaros have about the same size engine(I originally wanted a 383 but I went with a bigger bore). I don't have 3 jobs though lol!

I sure will!!! I am praying that the engine will be ready for pick-up tomorrow and if it is I'll post some pics of it. It's just the top half. A mechanic and I are going to assemble the bottom half. I know this build thread will get pretty long so should I start a different thread in the Classic Camaro board? It'll probably get even more reads and replies there.

dude that is a awsome camaro i love the second gene looks i paid $800 for my 77 lt and drove it home when i was 15 years old and now four years later it has 490hp at the wheel out of a 355. the only suggestion is to go with a th400 they are $50-$100 more and they will handle the power easy

Here's the ready to be assembled stroker block. It's going to be assembled by the engine builder for only a few hundred dollars more. Me and a mechanic were going to assemble the engine but we might as well wait another week or so and let the original engine builder do it right since he knows it better. If you look closely you just might notice that he converted the original 2 bolt main to a 4 bolt main.

Here's a beautiful Cadillac engine that's going in an air boat. I think it's way too pretty to put in a boat but hey it's not my money.
