Well you got the money you got the time you got the ride. What size motor did you end up with? I just got my Aburn LSD and Richmond Ring and Pinion 4.10:1 rear end.

I've had a good bit saved up. I was going to put the 406 in a 70 C10 pickup but decided to make the truck a daily driver and not a drag truck. Plus I only want to get the best parts within my budget and I want to start on the car as soon as possible. Believe me,whenever I get the car together and running it'll be a while before I start on the pickup.

Have you put the Auburn unit in and if so is it any good? How much did you pay for it and where did you get it from? I'm probably going to get the Auburn unit from Jegs because it's the cheapest I've seen so far and I was just wondering if it was worth the money.

Yeah I just dying to get the Camaro running. I won't forget about the C10 though because of the sentimental value of it. It used to be my grandfather's and I've always thought it would look amazing if it was restored. I plan to put a basic 350 crate engine with a 700R4 with 3.73s but I can't decide between a fuel injected or a carbureted 350. Is it really worth it to upgrade to fuel injection? Will the increased fuel economy it would bring ever pay for itself? BTW,I don't mean to get off subject when I'm talking about the C10. After all the boards are for Camaros anyway.

F.I. is just nice because its easy to tune and better for a street car/truck

Thanks gray for the help. But what I was really wondering was if the extra $1K or so spent on a F.I. engine would warrant buying it or should I go with the carbureted version and save the left over money for gas? I plan to either the 350 H.O. Deluxe(carbureted) for around $3500 or the Ram Jet 350(F.I.) for around $5K. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yeah it's in there and it is AMAZING!!! I can do a 2 wheel burn out!!! I got mine from Jegs and they matched Summit Racing's Price!
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MSR-542050&N=700+0&autoview=sku
MSR-542050
Notice the part number.

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?lang=-1&catalogId=10002&storeId=10001&categoryId=13525
109-542050
The main trailing numbers mean they are the same part. Call them, they'll do some research on their website and Summit Racing's and you will end up saving $35
I also went with Superior Axles to compliment everything and a Support Diff Cover. :-) 800 lbs of extra support on the carrier bearings.
Same part number. Summit just put it under a different "brand" I was able to get it for less.
