ORIGINAL: BigNic the above posted thread dose raise a good point though why do we block the name of a religious figgure but not curse words in some cases i mean im not gonna get bleeped if write in the word pope or cross or star of david or kuran or umm (trys to think of somthing else) totem pole nic is right, and its not just any religious figure, its THE religious figure, G,0,D. peolpe are so seeker friendly, and dont want to offend any1, so worried about tolerence, they forget to stand for something, or anything for that matter. i believe it was abraham lincon who said, "a man who stands for nothing will fall for anything" most are so busy, and concerned with what they DONT believe, witch is good, but when asked what they DO belive in, its quite a mystery. most have no idea. i would rather be made fun of being a religious freak or radical, and stand for what i belive in, than spend my whole life tryin to please, and be tolerant of every1 i meet. there is not fulfillment in that. exactly right, and also, the word G,O,D does not necessarilly mean the Christian one, so what is the big deal about that word, every religion has a **** of some kind, that seems to me like it would be the least offensive word on the site of the banned ones, all of which are used regularly

This stuff has been going on for months. so the question is, when are the admin going to change up the word filters to not include various 4 letter words? It would appear that the CF populous is damanding it.

I myself don't really care too much about the curse word that are being used, but it's definitely sleezy. I'd feel bad for young kids or Christians coming here in search for car knowledge and all they get is F this and F that. Inappropriate and unnecessary. I can't believe how some people just don't care and curse around people who they know don't want to hear it. I use curse words around my house, but if I'm ever around people I don't know, I don't risk it. I'm not attached enough to my curse words to want to use them around people who don't want to hear them... I'd rather maintain respect from that person and forfeit a few worthless four letter words to do so... (But I may have slipped a few times on here, I'll admit). I actually kinda like that G,o,d is bleeped out. Not because I hate **** or hate people who love ****. I just think it helps keep people from getting on soap boxes every other day and posting about how much they love ****. I don't care to hear that, just like I'm sure most of them don't care to hear curse words. That's why it's odd, as many of you say, that we can say f*** but not ****. Let's try this: j,e,s,u,s, and a,l,l,a,h: jesus allah Edit: Go figure ^^
