hi, i just bought my very first car friday. it's a 1992 camaro RS V6. i was driving it around and i stopped n went to start it again and nothing happened. next time when i did it started but was flashing INFL REST. i looked in the manual and it said nothing about that. so i drove it home n parked it, let it rest for 35 mins, turned key, nothing, it juz flashed INFL REST. and the temp guage read past the redzone. but i lifted hood and engine wasn't even warm. n fluid's fine. the guy be4 just changed the core(freeze) plugs. he was a mechanic so i think he new wat he was doing. but im leanin towards any kind of sensor or even water pump. but i have no idea. could somone save my first car?! and tell me what INFL REST means. thank you. alex

Did a search for "Infl rest" in yahoo, found that it is due to a contact getting dirty for the airbag sensor, apparently a common problem on our 90's models. Found a few ways to fix it.
INFL REST=Inflatable Restraint a.k.a. Airbag
