Yeah, its not stock. I got the engine from my dad that bought it from Jim Reed Chevy in Nashville. It started out as a 285 HP crate motor. It has the stock truck 993 heads that are ported and polished, street dominator intake, edelbrock 750 cfm carb, 272 cam from crane retarded 4 degrees, hypertech DUI HEI distributor rotor and coil kit advanced curve kit and shims in the distributor, 10.4 mm wires from Taylor, flat top pistons, headers, exhaust. I've got plans to spray this engine and when it blows, I'm going to build a 355 with a procharger supercharger, able to run 20lbs. of boost. The car also has a th350 with a 2500 stall converter and a shift kit. I've got a set of 3:90 gears from richmond and a pro series posi from auburn to round out the rear end.

sounds awesome. ProCharger is the way to go. My dads got a 1969 Camaro. its a "restofication."

Everyone tells me to go with that new twin turbo kit from Gale Banks power, I'm stuck inbetween doing that and the procharger

go with the pro charger. you'll get more out of it.

That and the procharger is a lot cheaper than the twin turbo kit
