Hey guys well, as you may know, I need help because I'm trying to get more HP out of my camaro. I've been thinking about getting a new transmission, new forged pistons, and gettin headers on them. But I'd have to change the compression ratio too(think mines 9:1) and I think I'd have to change the timing on them. After that I think that I can really do some great stuff like putting in a T3 turbo. That stuffs all great, but what do ya'll think?

Ok we will start out your compression ratio i think is about 8.5:1 if its stock. 10:1 would make you need to run premium if you did that you would probably want a new cam also. If you want more power the turbo or a supercharger is an awsome choice but is expensive and in that case you would not want 10:1 compression keep it lower the turbo or supercharger will raise that. If you do that you must put headers and exhaust... What goes in must come out. if it is carburated get a bigger carburator and better intake manifold i like eddelbrock but if it TPI-Tuned Port-you would probably need to get a pigyback for your computer and a high performance MAF-Mass Airflow Sensor the comp has to know what is going on too. Some better designed heads, valves and a good port job would be good also. After that you may want to think about new titanium rods and higher performance crank to withstand the power you will be adding to your engine. You should think about stronger driveline too dont want to be tering stuff up. That is all i can think up right now.
